Cyprus has two international airports - Paphos and Larnaka - both around 4 hours flying time from the UK.
Currently over 40 airlines operate 260 flights a week to and from Cyprus. Regular flights leave from airports across the UK.
Car hire is not essential unless you wish to explore the island. Vehicles drive on the left as in the UK. Fairly good surfaced roads, complying with international traffic requirements, link the towns and the various villages. Four lane motorways connect the coastal towns of Larnaka, Limassol and Paphos.
